Recruit-A-Doc® is committed to protecting the privacy of those who register.
We do not rent or sell information of our registered members to any mailing groups or commercial enterprises including drug companies.
We do reserve the right to provide information to other Medical Recuitment Agencies if it is in the best interests of a medical officer in order to secure a job.

The SSL: Secure Socket Layer & Your Financial Privacy

The site utilises a secure BankSA/StGeorge Bank E-Commerce system. Each transaction is authenticated by a GeoTrust Digital Security, which provides a secure socket layer, through which credit transactions pass direct to BankSA.

We do not store credit card details on any part of our website or database system. This technology encrypts all personal and financial information to avoid the decoding of that information by anyone other than the bank.

Click the GeoTruct logo to the left to check the validity of our certificate.

To check the security of your connection, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window after accessing the server. If you see this then the SSL is active. You can also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https.

Cookies: what are they and how are they used?
We use a software technology called 'session variables' which is similar to 'cookies'.
This allows you to navigate through the Recruit-A-Doc website, providing you access and linking your data input(s) while you are logged in.

If you leave your screen untouched for approximately 15 minutes the sessions will expire and you will need to login again.

How to turn on cookies in Internet Explorer 4 or 5

    • Click View option.
    • Select Internet options.
    • Select Advanced tab.
    • Under Security select Cookies, click the 'Always accept cookies' radio button.
    • Press OK.
    • Press Refresh.

In Netscape Navigator 4

    • From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
    • Click the Advanced category.
    • Click the ‘Accept all cookies’ radio buttons
